KPL School Visits and Drop-In Morning

Last Week (Friday 30th November & Saturday 1st December) Kishorn Port Ltd (KPL) hosted site visits with over 50 teachers and pupils from Lochcarron and Applecross Primary Schools and Plockton High School.

The pupils received an interesting presentation from KPL Director Simon Russell detailing the history of the site and the future hopes and plans for the facilities. This was then followed by a tour of the Yard and dry dock by fellow KPL Director Alasdair Ferguson. Simon commented “The level of interest and the insightful questions were most rewarding”

On the Saturday, KPL invited local people from the surrounding area to drop in and 34 attendees received similar presentations and tours of the yard at intervals throughout the morning. Ally added “KPL would like to thank everybody that visited the site over the two days. Following the success of this event we hope to do another similar event in the future”
