Noble Intrepid leaves Kishorn Port after 10 Month Stay
KPL and its partners, Leiths (Scotland) Ltd and Ferguson Transport & Shipping supported our client Noble Corporation and principal contractors Avantis in the casting, supply, fabrication, and logistics of the concrete batches for supply on site the docking blocks for the mighty Noble Intrepid.
The jack up drilling rig, one of the largest in the world, entered our dry dock at the end of 2022 for a period of 10 months, before leaving in September 2023.
Our on-site quarry provided 2042m3 of concrete to cast 2000 docking blocks in 28 working days, to a concrete spec of C40/50 CEM1 20 S3 + Accelerator. This allowed the Noble Intrepid to be supported whilst the jack up legs were lifted from the ground.
