Warehousing
Our facility offers five warehouses of 52m x 22.5m with over 6,000 m2 in total. There are quayside transit sheds available and temporary uncovered storage on quay by prior arrangement only.
In addition to warehousing, there is a mechanical engineering building and pump house store. There is also a fabrication and welding company with workshop facilities adjacent to the site.
Loch Kishorn in position 57 23.8’ North 5 37.5’ West approximately.
The Quay is open to the seaward i.e. west and deep water exists close to the Quay. It is recommended that the approach to the berth be made from the west as chart sounding indicates shallow water to the east of the Dolphins. The berth is somewhat exposed to the prevailing winds from the west and south west.
The bottom alongside the Quay comprises of a mixture of hard gravel and sand. The bottom is levelled to a uniform depth of 3 metres below datum, extending the length of the Quay and the width between the Quay and Dolphins, i.e. 132 m x 40 m approx.
