Decommissioning
Kishorn Port Ltd (KPL) has successfully secured a Waste Management Licence (WML) from the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) for the decommissioning of off-shore oil & gas assets at Kishorn Port & Dry Dock.
Warehousing
Our on site facilities offer five warehouses of 52m x 22.5m which can accommodate 8,000 pallets in total. There are quayside transit sheds available and temporary uncovered storage on quay by prior arrangement only.
Cranage & Materials Handling
Kishorn Port can provide stevedoring, cranage and a variety of plant and machinery for the handling of small to heavy lifts. Through our trusted supply chain we can accommodate all types and sizes of projects.
Extensive Lay Down Area
A vast and open area with continued investment provides potential for further development to reclaim an additional foreshore of 10 hectares to the current site.
Concrete Batching Facilities
The dry dock would be an ideal choice for the construction of concrete caissons for the offshore wind industry. It can also be used for the decommissioning of floating structures with ample set down space immediately adjacent to the dock.
Shipping Agency & Services
Our shipping agency and services include round the clock shipment storage, cargo handling and documentation, supply vessels and barges, and multi modal transport by arrangement. Qualified divers are available upon request.
Offshore Wind Renewables & Energy Transition
Our 45ha port has been recognised for its significant potential to support future offshore wind development building on an already approved port masterplan which will see the creation of additional laydown land, a new deep-water quay and an extended dry dock facility.
