Kishorn Port Welcomes Back Bakkafrost vessel ‘Bakkanes’ after her refit
We recently welcomed back the Bakkafrost vessel “Bakkanes” into Kishorn Port after her refit, where she will load out smolts in due course.
Also evident in the photographs is the investment made by KPL with the new concrete abutment improvements, carried out in recent times on both the East and the West sides, encasing the older sheet piled walls. Future proofing further the dry dock infrastructure.
The marine design engineers for the works were Wallace Stone and the specialist diving contractor work was carried out by Shearwater Marine Services Ltd.
