OEUK Offshore Decommissioning Conference

The OEUK Offshore Decommissioning Conference 2025 has now concluded, and the KPL team had a highly successful and engaging two days at the event. The conference provided a great opportunity to network, reconnect with familiar faces, and build new relationships while discussing the latest developments across the decommissioning sector.

Throughout the event, the team enjoyed many valuable conversations and welcomed visitors to Stand 20, answering questions and sharing insights on all things “Decom”.

A particular highlight of the conference was a session delivered by KPL’s Head of Safety & Compliance, Steve Welham, who spoke during the “Decommissioning in the Energy Transition” session. The session was chaired by Professor Richard Neilson, Director of the National Decommissioning Centre at the University of Aberdeen, and generated strong engagement and discussion.
