Recent Visit at Kishorn Port

KPL Directors, Alasdair Ferguson, Carol MacKinnon and Kevin Ferguson, along with Stephen Dryden – Managing Director (Quarries) of KPL JV Partners, Leiths (Scotland) Ltd welcomed a visit recently from Guy Arnold – Deputy Director for GBE Supply Chain Programme, Katie Spencer – Head of Transactions, Lindsay Hart – Grant Fund Manager and Melissa Murray – Strategy Lead from Great British Energy . Elain MacRae – Head of Energy, Greg Paterson – Senior Development Manager – Energy and Rachel Forrest – Senior Economist from Highlands and Islands Enterprise also joined the visit.

The morning started with a KPL company overview presentation and discussions followed regarding Kishorn Port’s future within the renewable energy sector, particularly the potential manufacture of floating offshore wind concrete substructures, on completion of the dry dock expansions plans.

A tour of the site followed, where the group were able to see firsthand the full scale of the current works.

A great visit was had by all and, as you can see from the photographs, the weather was very kind!
