The OEUK Offshore Decommissioning Conference 2025 has now concluded, and the KPL team had a highly successful and engaging two days at the event. The conference provided a great opportunity to network, reconnect with familiar faces, and build new relationships while discussing the latest developments across the decommissioning sector. The Kishorn Port & Dry Dock 50th Anniversary celebrations were a highly successful two-day event, bringing together the local community, partners and stakeholders to mark this important milestone. The second day featured an open day, exhibition and ceilidh, providing a fitting opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate 50 years since the formation of Kishorn Port and Dry Dock. We attended SPE Offshore Europe 2025 this week at P&J Live in Aberdeen, where the team took part in a range of valuable discussions throughout the conference. Exhibiting at Stand 3C53, we welcomed visitors from across the offshore energy sector, meeting new contacts, reconnecting with familiar faces, and sharing insights into how Kishorn Port can support current and future projects. The event provided a great opportunity to exchange ideas and strengthen industry connections. We were delighted to welcome Maree Todd MSP, along with Cllr Liz Kraft, to Kishorn Port for a site visit. The delegation was given a tour of the port and dry dock, providing an opportunity to see firsthand the progress being made on the Phase 1a construction works as part of the port’s expansion project. The visit also highlighted the £24 million investment recently confirmed by the Scottish Government and Highlands and Islands Enterprise. We were delighted to welcome Scotland’s Deputy First Minister, Kate Forbes MSP, to Kishorn Port recently. The visit gave us a very welcome opportunity to show her at first hand the rapid progress that is being made on our £42.2million expansion project.Last month, the Deputy First Minister announced investment of up to £24m by Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE), enabling us to deliver this major development.
