Kishorn Port Welcomes Scottish Government and HIE

KPL Managing Director, Alasdair Ferguson and Operations & Project Director, Kevin Ferguson were delighted to host a visit recently from Michelle Quinn, Director of Offshore Wind and Alison Gilfillan, Head of Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement, from The Scottish Government. Eilidh Cameron, Head of Business Growth-Lochaber, Skye and Wester Ross and Greg Paterson, Senior Development Manager from Highlands and Islands Enterprise also joined the visit.

It has been a number of months since the Scottish Government officials have been to Kishorn Port and they were keen to see the transformation that has been made to the Dry Dock and reclamation area in the last 14 months.

Alasdair Ferguson, Managing Director, KPL said: “It was a great pleasure to show Michelle and Alison round the Port & Dry Dock along with Eilidh and Greg from the HIE team and for them to witness firsthand the progress being made at the Port. The Scottish Government and HIE have been hugely supportive of the project which is scheduled to finish on time and within budget, which is very pleasing”.
