Lord Lieutenant Visit

KPL Directors welcomed a visit from Joanie Whiteford, Lord-Lieutenant for Ross and Cromarty (incorporating Skye and Lochalsh) along with Andrew Townsend and other members of the Community Council including its Chair Person Helen Murchison to Kishorn Port and Dry Dock.

Joanie commented “The introductory slides gave us a good background to the different projects being carried out, but nothing prepared us for the size of the yard and its potential. The trip down into the dry dock, and standing so close to the jack-up rig was absolutely incredible, no slides could have prepared us for their sheer scale.”
