Director of Offshore Wind visits Kishorn Port

Michelle Quinn, Director of Offshore Wind visited Kishorn Port recently with Alison Gilfillan, Head of Strategy, Stakeholder Engagement & Skills. KPL Directors Alasdair Ferguson and Colin Ortlepp hosted the visit.

Highlands and Islands Enterprise team members Greg Paterson, Development Manager – Large Scale Renewables and Eilidh Cameron, Head of Business Growth-Lochaber, Skye and Wester Ross  also joined in the visit.

It was the ideal opportunity to talk through the exciting Dock expansion plans and show Michelle around the port. The group got to see firsthand how the impressive Northern Producer recycling project is progressing.

Alasdair commented “We welcomed the visit, we have a great story to tell, and with the pending offshore floating wind development plans and the potential for the manufacture of concrete substructures and the support we feel we can provide for the sector we were delighted Michelle took the time to visit us at Kishorn Port”.
