Ministerial Visit from Mr Tom Arthur, Minister of Employment and Investment 

Kishorn Port Ltd hosted a Ministerial visit recently from Tom Arthur MSP, Minister of Employment and Investment and Steven Cullum, Head of Social Enterprise Policy.

KPL Directors Alasdair Ferguson and Colin Ortlepp welcomed Mr Arthur and the opportunity to engage in discussions around future development plans at Kishorn Port & Dry Dock and how KPL could play its part in the future of Scotland’s economy on the West Coast and its potential to create job opportunities for the local community and beyond.

A tour of the Port followed discussions before the Minister continued his visit of the local area.

Alasdair commented; “It was great to show the Minister round the Port. We are almost halfway through the recycling part of the decom project, and we have Port improvements going on as we speak. It was good to be able to highlight our ongoing expansion and investment plans that we have at the Port. There was lots to see and talk about which was both helpful and informative for both KPL and the Minister.”
