KPL Director, Alasdair Ferguson, welcomes visitors
KPL Director, Alasdair Ferguson welcomed a visit from Kenny Taylor, Partner – Energy Infrastructure, Zero Waste Scotland and colleagues Helen Lavery, Partner (Regional Development) and Lewis Cowie, Graduate Analyst.
The main focus for discussion was Kishorn Port’s plans for sustainability and circular economy. It was also a great opportunity to share first hand the decommissioning activities of the Northern Producer which is currently in the dry dock and after the recent successful blow down.
Meetings also took place on site with Clinton Dick, Co-Owner and Director of Liberty Industrial Ltd, the owners of the asset and principal recycling contractor, along with their Project Manager, Adam King and Kyle Coleman, Demolition Supervisor.
It was a great visit, with a project update, how it was going, and the sharing of the experiences gained to date, all of which was thoroughly enjoyed by all, and we look forward to engaging further in the future.
