KPL Directors witness Northern Producer blow down
KPL Directors Alasdair Ferguson, Colin Ortlepp and Carol MacKinnon were all on site to witness the very impressive blow down of the Northern Producer last month.
The Directors were joined by Project Director – Decommissioning, Lawrence Henderson and the wider members of the Liberty Industrial team, contractors and Gordon Donald, Vice President Marketing & Contracts, Regional Manager Europe & Africa of the Northern Offshore Ltd team along with Yongxi Bono Teng and Roy Baoliang Lu. Helen Murchieson, Chair of the Local Community Council was also invited along to see firsthand this important stage of decommissioning.
Also joining the group for this momentous occasion, was Bill Cattanach, Head of Supply Chain and Sylvia Buchan, Supply Chain Manager of the NSTA to witness the event.
Due to the nature of the demolition and use of controlled explosives the Fire Brigade were also on site, as a precautionary measure.
